New Appointment System – how it works

· Morning surgery will be 8.30 – 10.30 Monday to Friday

· It will be an “open” surgery – no appointments can be booked

· Each doctor working on any morning will have “slots” where patients can be seen

· We will advertise in advance – in surgery and on our website (www.elybridge.co.uk) - when doctors will be working.

· If you come to the surgery early you will have a good chance of seeing the doctor of your choice.

· Once each doctor’s slots are gone you cannot choose to see that doctor.

· If you arrive before 10.30am and all slots are allocated, you will be seen but you cannot choose which doctor you will see.

· You can book appointments in the afternoon – but only up to 2 weeks in advance

· If you are currently seeing you doctor for blood pressure checks you will be given an appointment with Sister. This is to make more doctor appointments available.
